Denmark takes the sixth position in the prestigious Best Countries for Business 2016 ranking by Forbes.

Denmark is the sixth best out of 139 countries worldwide in the recent 2016 Best Countries for Business ranking by Forbes, measuring which economies are the most inviting for capital investment.

Innovation, low tax and no corruption

Denmark ranks in the top 20 in nine of the eleven metrics used to measure each country’s performance, scoring in the top 10 for personal freedom, low corruption, tax burden, trade freedom and innovation.

The Best Countries for Business ranking evaluates the world’s economies by measuring which are the most inviting for capital investment.

The ranking grades 139 countries on 11 factors: property rights, innovation, taxes, technology, corruption, freedom (personal, trade and monetary), red tape, investor protection and stock market performance.

The data is based on published reports from Freedom House, Heritage Foundation, Property Rights Alliance, Transparency International, World Bank Group and World Economic Forum.
