EUDP and Green Labs DK: DKK 204.9 million for grant applications in march 2022

The Danish Energy Technology Development and Demonstration (EUDP) together with Green Labs DK supports a total of DKK 204.9 million for new energy technology projects.

the general funding pool: eudp and green labs dk

The general funding pool supports DKK 200 million to EUDP and Green Labs DK applicants. The funds for Green Labs DK are thus offered together with the applications under EUDP, wherein applications for test facilities are subject to competition with development and demonstration projects. The means that the general pool can be used as a "top up" in one of the more special pools so that the best projects across the pools can obtain support.

This special funding pool supports the development and demonstrations of projects connected to research which aims to supporting the improvement of a more energy efficient and climate-friendly production of oil and gas.

how do i apply?

The application scheme has to be completed in English if the application is applying for more than DKK 3 million in funding. If the amount of funding requested is less than DKK 3 million, the application can be written in English or Danish. Applications can apply for an exemption to write the application in English if the support amount is less than DKK 15 million. If research or researcher training are involved, the application must be completed in English.

can non-danish projects apply?

Foreign projects can also apply for funding as long as the projects contribute to technology development in Denmark and the main applicant is registered with a Danish CVR number. Funding cannot be granted to enterprises that have not complied with the requirement to repay funding that, in a previous decision, the European Commission has declared to be illegal and incompatible with the single European market.

  • Mid-June 2022: EUDP's final decision on grant allocation

Since 2007, EUDP has supported Danish as well as foreign companies and universities to develop and demonstrate new energy technologies. The EUDP funding supports the development of all types of energy technologies projects including renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency technologies, conversion technologies such as fuel cells and hydrogen, integration of energy systems e.g. storage and more efficient methods for recovery of oil and gas and storage of CO2.
