Denmark consolidates its place as one of the easiest places to do business in the world

A new analysis by TMF Group ranks Denmark as the easiest business jurisdiction in the world to do business in. Denmark has the least complex jurisdiction among the 77 included countries.
Companies looking for a smooth way to set up and run their new business should choose Denmark as their destination. For years, Denmark has been the easiest place of doing business in Europe according to the World Bank.
Now, TMF Group’s new Global Business Complexity Index has also placed Denmark as the country where it is easiest to run a business.

TMF Group highlights that Denmark’s position is due to:

  • The easy process to set up a business, as it can be done within a day at a one stop entry point for all registrations
  • online governmental services offered in English and more and more are continuously being translated
  • commitment to digitise the jurisdiction and digital fluency as well as
  • support packages offered to businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
