Part 2 of Invest in Denmark webinar series - Clean, Green, Renewable, Sustainable
The CGRS series of dialogues explores a few values that are dear to both countries, India and Denmark. The ideas of sustainability, inclusion, renewability and responsible consumption are key values for the people of Denmark. India values frugality, environmental protection, entrepreneurship and inclusive growth. CGRS is an exploration of the areas of similarity and divergence in the ethos of the two countries.
The Green Agenda is important for both India and Denmark and Smart City collaborations exist. This opens up interesting opportunities for Indian and Danish companies to partner and work together.
Episode 2
The theme for episode 2 of the series is Design for Sustainability. In this episode Lotte Lynsted Jepsen, Co founder of Kirk, Hatch & Bloom will talk about how Design Thinking Can Actually Save Lives. The second speaker in this episode is Jacob Mathew, CEO of Industree Foundation. Jacob will talk about his vision for a Kinder, Gentler Type of Capitalism. Lotte Lyngsted Jepsen
Lotte Lyngsted Jepsen is co-founding partner of Copenhagen based innovation and design agency Kirk, Hatch & Bloom. Lotte has been working with design thinking, service design and user-centered design for more than 15 years, focusing on promoting social sustainability.
Jacob Mathew
Trained as an industrial designer, Jacob is CEO of Industree Foundation. Industree promotes creative manufacturing enterprises that are producer owned. Jacob is also Design Principal, Impact Edge, the social enterprise lab at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art Design and Technology, Bangalore, India.
The CGRS series will be moderated by, Suresh Venkat, journalist/designer.
