PK Engineers establishes Scandinavian headquarter in Esbjerg
PK Engineers has been dealing with the offshore wind industry in Denmark and Germany for several years and has been involved in offshore wind projects such as Horns Rev 3 and Kriegers Flak. With the establishment of their regional headquarter in Denmark, PK Engineers will strengthen the offshore survey capacity and the offshore ecosystem in Denmark.
PK Engineers considers it to be of great value to be part of the offshore cluster in Esbjerg. We look forward to introducing our offshore solutions in Denmark. We already have a head start by executing our first contract at the coast of Jutland here in February. With all the Danish offshore activities and competences on wind, oil and cable connections, we believe that Denmark is an important market for us. We appreciate the professional and honest support from Invest in Denmark during our establishment process.
PK Engineers' technological equipment can be utilised to scan, search and measure the bottom of the ocean to support for example dredging, cable tracking and UXO-detection and monitoring.
The company especially looks forward to introducing their new Shallow Draft Survey Boat, PKE Explorer. With PK Engineers’ technology and experience, the new Danish division is already paving way for more local co-operation on strategic environmental assessments together with Rambøll and other partners.
“I am pleased that we have been able to assist PK Engineers in taking the decision to establish their Scandinavian headquarter in Denmark. With offices in Esbjerg and as part of the offshore cluster there, I believe that PK Engineers will have a strong base to serve clients in Denmark and the Nordic region,” says Christian Seehusen, Investment Manager at Invest in Denmark.
PK Engineers DK ApS is the regional headquarter of the German engineering company Patzold, Köbke Engineers GmbH & Co. Kg, which is working within the field of civil engineering, open cast mining, process engineering and ecology as well as consultancy and exploration in UXO-services on- and offshore.
PK Engineers DK ApS will base their office and storage facilities in Esbjerg near the North Sea, which is home to Denmark’s offshore cluster.
