Maurice Ward opens first Scandinavian distribution centre in Denmark
Potential in the Danish market
According to Mr. Goran Dimitrievski, Director of International Operations at Maurice Ward, it is the first direct investment by the group in Scandinavia and Denmark was their first choice.Maurice Ward’s policy is to never say ’no’ to our customers; therefore we needed to act quickly. Our decision to enter Denmark was made literally within days. The Danish market was of course not unknown to us, we felt a great potential there and now we experience it in reality. After 6 months of our presence in Denmark, we can already say that no matter how super-fast the decision was it was a right one.
The new Maurice Ward distributions centre is already the workplace for five employees and is generating many opportunities for local suppliers. The goal is to employ 25 people by the end of 2019.
