GreenLight Clinical establishes new European base in Copenhagen as the organisation extends its global reach. Reasons include the quality, diversity and innovation of medical research in Denmark.
When
GreenLight Clinical, a full-service contract research organisation (CRO), announces the opening of a new office in Copenhagen, in the heart of the Medicon Valley. The move represents a significant expansion of the company’s operations in Europe.
Establishing a European headquarter in this premier biopharma location enhances the capability of GreenLight Clinical to manage high-quality trials in Scandinavian and other European countries.
It also consolidates the company as a global CRO with the network and resources to facilitate clinical evaluation of a wide range of medical and healthcare products and drive their commercial development, in both Europe and across the world.
GreenLight Clinical has an established multinational presence in the Asia-Pacific region and has recently expanded into the east coast of the United States with an office in Boston. The addition of a dedicated operations and R&D base in Denmark offers a full suite of clinical research services to the thriving local biopharma sector and provides it with streamlined access to the global markets in which GreenLight Clinical operates.

We are very much aware of the quality, diversity and innovation of medical research in Denmark’s universities and private sector. Together with the Danish Government’s Invest in Denmark support for foreign ventures, it made Copenhagen an obvious choice for our European headquarters. We will be looking to put specialist teams together here very soon to conduct and develop quality trials that advance products from local and regional programs. But more than this, we believe that our global study sponsors will be very interested in what the European arm of our business can offer them as they pursue the clinical development of their products.
