New Danish initiative helps hardware start-ups & Scale-ups manufacture physical products in a sustainable way

Future Manufacturers are back with another round of applications for hardware start-ups and scale-ups looking to set up production and interested in getting guidance and financial support for production setup. The initiative, Future Manufacturers, will ease the process for start-ups and scale-ups of finding the best ways of producing in a sustainable and secure way.

Future Manufacturers - Your Gateway to Sustainable Hardware Production

Future Manufacturers is an initiative, tailored to support hardware start-ups on their journey from innovative concepts and prototypes to full-scale, sustainable production.

The initiative's mission is to navigate you through every facet of this process. Assist you in selecting optimal materials, refining product designs, and developing sustainable business models. Their expertise ensures quality, effective supplier management, and adherence to regulatory compliance standards.

Future Manufacturers has built a robust network of experienced advisors, mentors, and knowledge partners committed to helping start-ups realise their visions. The goal is to empower you to move from prototype to a successful full-scale production, fostering innovation and growth within the Danish manufacturing sector.

What Future Manufactures are looking for 

  • Your start-up is currently developing or have already developed a functional prototype

  • You are willing to commit to the program with your time and focus

  • You have an ambition to work with sustainability in your business model and/or in the production of your product(s)

  • You are driven by learning and improving your professional and personal skills and competencies and extending your network

  • Your start-up has a Danish CVR number.

 

Invest in Denmark - How can we help you?

Invest in Denmark can - free of charge – guide you how to set up a CVR number and company in Denmark, put you in contact with and advice you on general and sector-specific framework conditions in Denmark. 
Future Manufacturers consists of three batches, each bringing together 12-15 start-ups and scale-ups. The programs span 5-6 months, and in each batch, a mix of joint and individual activities are designed to enhance the participating start-ups’ knowledge of production and all its associated disciplines. Examples of individual events include matching participants with a relevant advisor and search for relevant test and production facilities. Examples of joint activities include physical workshops and networking events. The advanced Manufacturing Cluster “MADE”, Danish Industry and the Industry Foundation stand jointly behind the initiative.
