Once again, Denmark is the least corrupt country in the world
Denmark has been at the top of the annual Corruption Perceptions Index since Transparency International first published it in 1995 – and this year is no exception.
The reasons why Denmark ranks as the least corruption country in the world are, among others, its public sector, which exhibits a high level of integrity.
Furthermore, Denmark is often highlighted as a good place to do business because of the safe business environment with no bribery. In facts, last year the World Bank ranked Denmark as the best place in Europe for business.
The fact that Denmark is ranked the least corrupt country in the world is obviously something to be very proud of. In Denmark, we believe in trust because we know that trust makes life, society and business run smoothly. And when the basics are covered, we are able to focus on what we do best and try new things. This is also one of the main reasons why Denmark is among the best places in the world to do business.
About the Corruption Perceptions Index
