New infrastructure plan worth 160 billion DKK to upgrade the national infrastructure

The Danish government has put forward a new plan to spend 160 billion DKK (€21.5b) on infrastructure looking ahead to 2035 called “Denmark Forward”. The plan is put in place to further improve the national road and railway systems benefiting people and businesses.

Numerous green initiatives such as reduce heavy traffic in cities, sustainable asphalt and improvement of the conditions for electric vehicles are featured to support the green transition in the transportation sector. 
 
“Denmark Forward” opens for new investment opportunities within supply chain and logistics and sustainable infrastructure over the next 10 years. Companies looking to invest in distribution solutions will get even better conditions with improved access and shorter lead times.
 
Innovative infrastructure companies will get the opportunity to contribute to the research and development of new sustainable infrastructure solutions implemented in Denmark.
