Denmark is the least corrupt country in the world

Danmark is the least corrupt country in the world according to Transparency International's study of corruption perception worldwide. No bribery and an open and well-functioning public sector have placed Denmark in top of the ranking since the first study in 1995.

Denmark is often highlighted as a good place to do business, because of the safe business environment with no bribery and a very well-functioning public sector. Just recently, The World Bank ranked Denmark as the best place in Europe for business, while Forbes Magazine ranked Denmark the best for business worldwide.

I am pleased to see Denmark ranked as the least corrupt country in the world for the fourth time. It recognises our public sector as both transparent and well-organized, and it shows that Denmark offers a safe and stable environment for both people and businesses.
