Denmark in top 10 of U.S. news' best countries ranking

Denmark is rated an overall no.10 in the ‘U.S. News' 2016 Best Countries Ranking List. Denmark achieves top positions in categories such as ‘Best Countries for Entrepreneurship’, ‘Most Modern Countries’, ‘Most Business Friendly Countries’ and 'Countries with the Best Quality of Life’.

Denmark is placed as no. 10 in the U.S. News' 'Best Countries' ranking. Denmark especially excels within sub-categories regarding quality of life, business and entrepreneurship.

The overall findings of the survey highlight Denmark’s prominent position as an attractive country for doing business while at the same time allowing citizens to live a comfortable life.

Forbes, the World Bank and Transparency International

Denmark’s good ranking is in line with recent findings of other ranking institutes. Just last month, Forbes Magazine for the second year in a row ranked Denmark no. 1 in their global league table ‘Best Countries for Doing Business’.

Forbes has been publishing the ‘Best Country for Doing Business’ list for a decade and Denmark has been ranked first in six of the ten annual editions. rel="noopener noreferrer"

Similarly, the World Bank recently ranked Denmark first in Europe in their ‘Doing Business Report’. Last but not least, Denmark has been ranked no. 1 on the 'Corruption Perception Index' of Transparency International for a consecutive number of years.

Fact About the ‘Best Countries Ranking List’

The ‘Best Countries Ranking List’ is produced by the global digital news station U.S. News & World Report.
 
Countries were ranked using data from a perception survey derived from more than 16.200 respondents from 36 countries worldwide. Respondents were asked to share their perceptions of 60 nations in terms of 65 specific country attributes.
 
The attributes were grouped into nine sub-rankings that rolled into the Best Countries ranking: Adventure, Citizenship, Cultural Influence, Entrepreneurship, Heritage, Movers, Open for Business, Power and Quality of Life. In addition, nations were ranked in ‘Best of’ lists including countries that are best to start a career, raise a family, receive an education, invest in and more.
