Denmark continues to be at the forefront of the renewable energy development. Today, onshore and offshore wind turbines provide more than 40 pct. of Denmark’s electricity consumption. However, we plan to go even further.
A new energy agreement from June 2018 aims to have 55 pct. of Denmark’s energy needs covered by renewable energy by 2030. To accomplish this, Denmark will build three offshore wind parks with a minimum 2.4 GW capacity before 2030.
