Suzlon opens new blade science centre in Denmark

Suzlon Group, one of the leading global renewable energy providers, has just announced the opening of a new blade science centre in Vejle, Denmark.

The new centre will focus on developing the next generation of wind turbines. Hence, the company will accelerate their research in air foils and rotor systems to continue to reduce the Levelised Cost of Energy (LCoE) and increase the Plant Load Factor (PLF) for their customers.

Leverage of the Danish talent pool in wind technology

The new centre will be led by the Dr. Thomas Buhl who comes from a position as Head of Section of wind turbine structures at the Technical University of Denmark and now joins Suzlon Energy as Vice President.
