Indian tech company opens new global headquarter in Denmark
Unique ICT and maritime hub
We chose to place our new global headquarter in Denmark because Danish ICT solutions and services, also within the maritime sector, are synonymous with high quality around the world. Furthermore, the Danish ICT companies operate some of the world’s most advanced technologies and the research capabilities are internationally renowned, which provides an excellent talent pool for us to hire from.
Denmark was recently ranked the most digital EU country in the 2016 edition of the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) published by the European Commission.
Ease of doing business
Another determining factor to the company was the ease of doing business in Denmark.
“In Denmark, companies can benefit from an easy plug ‘n play registration and be ready to do business within just a few hours,” says Shanker Subramaniam, India Country Manager at Invest in Denmark.

In the most recent report – Doing Business 2016 from the World Bank – which evaluates 189 economies, Denmark is referenced first in Europe. The report assesses 10 areas in the life cycle of a business, confirming that establishing a business in Denmark is easy and cost-effective.
