The Trial Nation Respiratory Center in Denmark was established in 2016 and is a network of Danish respiratory research units specializing in sponsor initiated clinical research with medicinal products across all respiratory diseases. The Center facilitates clinical trials conducted in a specialized clinical setting with trained staff, harmonized clinical assessments and specialized diagnostic methods. The center is committed to developing and maintaining Denmark as a preferred country for respiratory clinical research.

Marianne Pilgaard
Marianne Pilgaard possesses over 20 years of managerial experience in the field of life science and clinical development, gained at Novo Nordisk. Marianne's most recent role was Biopharm Director, National Sales & Marketing, Novo Nordisk Sweden, and prior to that, she served as the Head of Clinical Research Sweden at Novo Nordisk from 2005 to 2016.
During the period from 1996 to 2005, Marianne held various managerial positions within clinical development, including data management and project management. Concurrently, she actively participated in the development of the Swedish life science platform, Swelife, thus acquiring valuable insights into the strategic development of life science from a public-private perspective.

Charlotte Suppli Ulrik
Charlotte Suppli Ulrik is a professor of medical lung diseases at the University of Copenhagen and a consultant physician at the Department of Respiratory Medicine, Hvidovre Hospital.
She serves as the Head of the Respiratory Research Unit at Hvidovre Hospital, is a Fellow of the European Respiratory Society (ERS), Chairperson of the steering committee of the Danish Respiratory Research Network, Head of Assembly 6 (Environment and Epidemiology) in the ERS, and serves as the leader (and founder) of the Management of Asthma during Pregnancy (MAP) program. Additionally, she is the national lead in EMBARC (European Registry for Patients with Bronchiectasis) and Medical Lead of the Trial Nation Center for Respiratory Diseases.
